TUTUVI x3
A multigenerational fashion and cultural preservation project celebrating Korean-Japanese designer Colleen Kimura’s life-work through film, publication, and performance. As project writer, I'm collaborated on building the narrative and context of Tutuvi from the 1970s onwards, translating decades of garments, textiles, and collaborations into cohesive storytelling.
Published with Pu'uhonua Society and Tropic Editions, 2025.
SUNBURN
A limited-edition risograph zine exploring my grandmother's photo albums.
In dialogue with personal iPhone photography and charcoal drawings. Collaborated with Bidband Publishing, this is a black and gold riso zine tracing the connection between grandmother and granddaughter through our shared sense of place. Feels like holding a memory.
Co-published with Bidband Publishing, 2024. Limited edition.
SPA
A companion zine exploring the intersection of shrines and spas as spaces of healing and transformation. Co-created with Pecorino for our two-person exhibition at Aupuni Space, this spiral-bound meditation examines ritualistic repetition, states of impermanence, and the energy of accumulation. The 92-page publication extends our gallery installation into an atmosphere that is accessible yet chaotic in its freedom. Considers how healing can be difficult and imperfect, yet refreshing and restorative.
